What can one say about themselves?

I could list milestones. I’ve taught the joy music to students 7 to 70 for over 30 years. Any teacher would tell you that that does not sum them up as a person. I could mention the wonderful orchestras I have performed with but that was merely the periphery of a career that never flourished. I could count off photography awards, titles and honors but I’d much rather share the photographs I have made along the way. 

Milestones don’t make a man. The real me is a proud father and husband who has far too many interests. From travel, to sailing, to photography, to poetry, to watercolor, the passions go on and on.  It is the variety of the joys I wish to explore that has brought me here. My ecphrastic blog is a place where I can combine my loves and share them with you.
