In a broad sense, an ekphrasis is one form of art describing another. More than a mere explanation, ekphrasis is an attempt to express the way an artistic endeavor moves us or to vividly describe the drama of a work. As someone who is a far better proponent than practitioner of art, music and literature, I wish to express, in my own humble way, the joy I feel when I hear musical lines beautifully interwoven or when I see painterly dabs become a breathtaking landscape.
